Get a key

• Free: sign up at /start. 25 requests per day, NFL, NBA and MLB moneylines.
• Professional or Business: subscribe from pricing. Your existing key is upgraded in place.

Check your plan and usage

GET /me/ returns your plan and today's usage. GET /me/usage returns today's counters plus 30-day request history by day and endpoint. Neither call uses quota, so you can always see why you were limited. The dashboard shows the same data.

Upgrading and downgrading

Plan changes apply to the key you already have. Quotas are daily and reset at 00:00 UTC.

Replacing an exposed key

There is no self-service rotation endpoint today. If a key leaks, email hello@bettingdataapi.com. We issue a replacement on the same plan and subscription, and the old key stops working.

Good practice

• One key per production system makes usage easy to attribute.
• Never commit keys. Use environment variables.
• Call from your server, not from browser JavaScript.
